@Erik,
I’m sorry to hear about the difficulties you’ve encountered with Doc-Converter and your attempts to reach out to the company. It’s frustrating when a product doesn’t meet expectations or when customer support is unresponsive.
While I don’t have direct influence over the author or the company, I appreciate your feedback and will make a note of it. I hope your situation gets resolved soon, and I encourage others to exercise caution and conduct thorough research before purchasing any software or service.
If you’re still seeking a document conversion solution for Linux Mint, you might want to explore alternative options or consider open-source software that could better meet your needs.
Thank you for sharing your experience, and I wish you the best of luck in finding a suitable solution.
]]>Reading your article a couple of months ago, persuaded me to buy Doc-Converter as it seemed to be exactly what I needed. However, the downloaded appImage DOES NOT work. I have tried to get in contact with the company – using the mail ads found on their website (ifedapoolarewaju@gmail.com).
I have mailed them 4 times with the same result: zero, null, nothing not even an auto-mail. I simply can´t get in contact with anybody who might advise me or at least give me a money return. And by the way, the offer on their website to test the application before you buy does not work either. I am running Linux Mint 21.2
So, to anyone who thinks about buying this application: DO NOT DO IT. And to the author Sergey Zarubin please inform your readers not to buy Doc-Converter.
Thanks
